About RSR

Born from a passion for bike racing for the last 40 years, from BMX to MTB Downhill, and a lot in between, at National and International level and coupled with a 35 year career in high precision engineering in nuclear research, defence and aerospace, there isn't much I don't know about bikes or that I can't work out.

 

I spent most my time in engineering thinking about bikes, so 2021 was the time to start thinking about what I'm working on and really enjoy doing... bikes. It was time to use my bike and engineering experience to help others with a similar passion and turn my passion in to my career.

 

The last 25 years racing Downhill MTB have given a wealth of experience, sometimes painful, that I want to pass on to others.
This ranges from the importance of good riding technique to how important a well serviced bike setup specifically to each rider is. In my experience, it doesn't matter if you're a racer or a recreational rider, the same principles apply – good technique, a properly working bike and a setup suited to you will make your cycling experience so much better and more enjoyable.

In recent times I have been employed by GT Factory Racing to mechanic and do suspension setup for Ethan Craik & Jess Blewitt at the UCI Downhill World Cups. Look out for us on the podiums in 2023 and beyond.
